A place to appreciate the many things in my life that I am thankful for

Going for “coffee”

I put coffee in quotation marks since I don’t actually drink the stuff, but still refer to going out for a hot beverage as “going for coffee”.

This morning I met up with a friend for coffee. We’re not particularly close, but we have several things in common and never have a shortage of things to talk about.

I don’t do things like this nearly often enough and I’m really glad that we got together. For one thing, it forced me out of the house and it was just a really lovely way to start the day. I’m grateful for that.

So if anyone wants to get together for coffee (or any other beverage) and a chat, I’m happy to oblige! πŸ™‚

I also refer to it as “going out for coffee” even though, like you, I don’t drink it.

If your schedule allows, let’s make plans to get together for hot drinks some time over the next couple of weeks. πŸ™‚
